I'm not entirely sure if these nature sites are really "educational," but some of the nature sites in SL are amazingly well done!

 

 

Svarga (PG)

 

A mixed nature sim that includes some very creative architecture, an oracle, and some great sound experiments.

Botanical @ Straylight (Mature, but seems PG)

 

A wonderfully detailed sim that is optimized for the new high graphics Windlight viewer.  You'll have to explore it to believe it.
