Coopération Française (Mature)

The Coopération française is a francophone community open to the public with free membership.  Most all visitors to the Coopération française location are francophone and willing to talk with other newcomers.  The goal of the organization is to help French speakers learn to navigate SecondLife and understand how to get the most out of the virtual world.  The organization also aims at helping French speakers interact and find other areas of interest to French speakers in SL.  The organization's building includes a business sector with freebes and other products, a nightclub, an art gallery and links to varies French areas of interest in SL.  The portaits in the art gallery provide links to teleport the individual galleries themselves, and one sector includes links to teleport to francophone recreation areas in SL.

La bibliothèque francophone (PG)

La bibliothèque francophone (French library), includes an art gallery on the bottom floor and several floors of books and other written work.  The project is linked with the Project Gutenburg, a web site the publishes books on the internet, free for use by the public.  The work published in the library includes contributions from members of SL and literary works from more famous authors.  Users can search for an author alphabetically.  If the author is well known with publications in the real world, it is likely that the icon in the library will link to a text published on the Project Gutenburg web site, giving SL users a chance to read the real work.
